A SAP Assessors need for CPD
Finally, the end of November, Ive got my 20 hours’ worth of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) completed. Its was a bit skin of the teeth this year. Normally I have booked onto a couple of training courses lasting a few days or attended a trade show or two and together with required reading in the form of Technical Bulletins issued by my Accreditation Scheme I’ve hit the target long before now. Apart from the tech bulletins I left it a bit late, two training courses I ummed and ahhed about and when I finally decided to enrol they had been fully booked, and another tasty course, this one a Retrofit Assessor course for Older and historical building s which would have bagged me a few hours’ worth of CPD, I got booked on by the course is not yet available and is unlikely to be until next year. The good news is next year is looking ok, this year just. Fortunately, an organisation local to me, based on Bristol, run some excellent CPD courses. The Green Register. They run a series of online training throughout the year all of which are excellent value and very informative. I completed the four, 2-hour sessions all round Air Tightness in buildings and was both informative and inspiring. Well worth a look if you too need some CPD.
